Professionally Tried and Tested Hair Tools and Accessories
As a hairstylist for 20 years, I have built an arsenal of tools and accessories that I personally use and recommend to my fellow cosmetologists and practically to those looking for an item specific to their needs. I understand when you can trim down your tools and accessories to a minimum because you already developed a second nature to pick up something you know won’t fail you.
Here I came up with 10 of my most helpful and gets-the-job-done tools and accessories for several of your hair-styling needs:

1. BaByliss PRO Nano Titanium-Plated Ultra-Thin Straightening Iron
This flat iron is amazing to straighten curl and smoothen every hair texture. It can straighten very curly and coarse hair like silk and polish very fragile hair by reducing the heating temperature to straighten hair making this iron a must for all hair types.
2. HOT TOOLS Professional Black Gold Curling Iron/Wand
This is my favorite cutting comb.
I have had mine for many years and the material is so super stiff it makes parting sectioning for cutting hair a breeze. Also, the comb is so durable the barbicide does not affect the comb which makes for a fantastic comb.
3. Jatai Feather Styling Razor Replacement Blades
They make creating choppy shapes and cuts wonderful. The blade comes with a curved groove to protect from cutting your fingers when using. I love to graze the blade over hair between my palms to give the ends a softer line. Great for giving hair a feathery flow.
These hair razors are great.
4. Adecco LLC 12pcs Styling Hair Clips for Women, Plastic Duckbill Hair Clips, Professional Hair Clips For Hair Styling and Sectioning, Non-slip Hair Dressing Grip Clips Salon Hair Barrettes
These plastic duckbill clips are great when you need to section hair away to cut, blowdry and style the hair. The tight grips make hair stay in place and won’t snag fragile hair.
5. Hotop 15 Pieces Elastic Bands Hair Styling Ponytail Hooks, Black, Brown and Blonde
These are my absolute favorite hair accessories.
The elastic hooks come in a variety of hair colors to create flawless ponytails and can be used on fine and extra thick hair. what I really love the most is that when winding the elastic the hair stays neatly and reduces bumps that occur when stretching normal round fasteners when gripping hair.

These clippers are the only brand I use. they can cut hair to a variety of lengths and have a very long life when cared for properly. The peanut is the closest in skin-tight effects and is a must for male grooming. used for hair and beards and mustaches.
7. Oster Ac T-finisher Trimmer
The poster finisher is a must for barbers and when creating tight clean lines .can be used to stencil different shaped into hair, even out sideburns. And clean out bobs and blunt shapes in hair.
8. Betty Dain Super Size Barber Cutting/Styling Cape, White
This is a great material and finding great quality white capes are hard to find. great for cutting dark hair and styling hair and to be able to see your work when doing hair.
9. BaByliss PRO Nano Titanium Mega Styler Boar Nylon
Wider than traditional brushes, it makes grabbing wider sections when doing blow drying wonderful. The boar bristles shine and polish curly hair and leave hair feeling like naturally straight hair.
